Dandelion Art Gallery & Studios, NFP, Inc. invites you to experience Lead the Way: The Power of Artistic Expression, an annual youth-focused exhibition celebrating creativity, identity, and the powerful voices of young artists in our community.

​

Lead the Way recognizes art as a form of liberation — a way for youth to explore who they are, share their truth, and influence the world around them. Through diverse creative disciplines, this exhibition highlights how artistic expression becomes a tool for confidence, leadership, healing, and connection. Each work reflects the unique perspective of its creator while contributing to a collective narrative of growth, resilience, and imagination.

Youth artists are featured across a wide range of mediums, including visual art, music, dance performances.. While presented within a professional gallery setting, the creative direction, message, and voice remain fully in the hands of the youth artists.

​

The opening night celebration includes a Live Youth Talent Showcase, held during ArtWauk. Guests are invited to enjoy inspiring performances alongside the exhibition opening, creating an energetic and welcoming evening for artists, families, and community members.

​

✨ Special dance performances will be featured by youth dancers of Ballet Folklórico Tayahua and Danza Folklórico Monarca, celebrating cultural tradition, movement, and storytelling through dance.

​

All participating youth artists will be honored during the showcase. Following the award acknowledgements, the evening continues with engaging community activities, including vision board creation, creative games, refreshments, and a live artistic demonstration, offering space for reflection, connection, and continued creative exploration.
