Visual Music is a collaborative art showcase featuring a collective body of work created by members of the Dandelion Artist Alliance. This exhibition explores the relationship between music and visual expression—interpreting sound, lyrics, and representation alongside abstract and conceptual approaches, including abstraction in a variety of forms.

​

Through color, texture, pattern, and composition, artists translate rhythm, emotion, and personal experience into visual form. Some works draw from specific songs, bands, or lyrical meaning, while others were created through the act of listening—shaped intuitively by sound and even how the music made the artist feel during the process of producing each piece.

​

The collection includes both representational and abstract works, reflecting movement, dance, light, and sound. It also explores connections between music and nature, highlighting shared elements such as repetition, flow, vibration, and cycles expressed through form and structure.

​

During the showcase, guests are invited to meet the artists, contribute to a community canvas, and participate in a “Sound to Shape” interactive art activity. Special gallery rates will be available throughout the evening.

This exhibition will be on view from April 18 through May 9.
