🎨 Open Studio: Figure Drawing Session (Live Model) Duration: 3 Hours Facilitator: Jesús Ortega Ages: 18+ Cost: $15 per person Join us for an immersive Open Studio Figure Drawing Session designed for artists of all levels looking to practice, explore, and refine their skills in a focused, creative environment. This non-instructional session is facilitated by the talented Jesús Ortega, offering light guidance in flow and structure while allowing artists the freedom to develop their own style. While this is not a formal class, participants are encouraged to learn through observation, peer interaction, and consistent practice. 🖌️ Session Structure: 15-minute gesture warm-up 30-minute poses 1-hour extended poses The live model will guide artists through a range of dynamic gestures and longer poses from a raised platform. Sessions may include traditional nude or themed/cosplay figure work, offering a diverse and inspiring drawing experience. 🎒 What to Bring: Sketchbook or drawing pad Your choice of materials (charcoal, graphite, chalk pastels, etc.) or your creative medium of choice Portable standing easel (recommended) Easels and select supplies available for rent: $5 ✨ Good to Know: Open to beginners through advanced artists Supportive, respectful, and focused studio environment Great opportunity to build consistency, confidence, and artistic discipline No formal instruction—come ready to create Step into a space where observation meets expression.
