They chose the name Martha-Maxwell to represent their past, and the journey it took to get to the present. Incorporating both aspects and giving them representation. “I create because it's what keeps me feeling alive. It's like breathing to me. When I create I can explain myself without using words. I believe that the lack of personality in modern structures and society has a detrimental impact on our psyche. We're meant to create things in a way that brings them to life. I aim to enlighten my viewer to the way I see the world through my art. I want to inspire those who haven't picked up the brush, camera, pencil, clay etc., to create for themselves. I wish to share my joy and sorrow in a breathtaking way that leaves a long lasting impact on the viewer.”
