"Black Mail" Shelly Johnson Showcase Event

Join Dandelion Gallery & Studio for the opening of our Urban Contemporary Art Exhibition featuring Artist Alliance Member, Shelly Johnson new show Black Mail. "BLACK MAIL is a collection of work Shelly produced over the past few years. The title and meaning of the show is basically a love letter of emotion and feeling that means something special to him. The past couple years of his life has been a rollercoaster of events and emotions. Shelly approached this compilation of work through his eyes as a black male. Each piece represents something different and was made to evoke different emotions. There's an assortment of his interpretation of different culture. From Skateboard, sneaker art, street art and Pop art, each piece gives a different vibe. But, at the same time flow together seamlessly. Enjoy and try to view the works through the eyes of a black male. Open Reception of this show is March 19th 5-9pm during ArtWauk. More details to come!
