In this festive Family Friendly Art Social, you’ll be introduced to the timeless beauty of Shibori — an ancient Japanese dyeing technique that transforms fabric into striking works of art through folding, tying, and twisting. Participants will sample different Shibori methods before diving into their own project — creating a masterpiece scarf dyed in rich holiday-inspired colors. Whether you keep it as a personal treasure or gift it to a loved one, your handmade scarf will be a one-of-a-kind creation filled with heart. 🎁💙❤️ ✨ When: Sunday, December 7th | 1–4 PM ✨ Where: Dandelion Gallery & Studios, 109 S Genesee St., Waukegan, IL ✨ What’s Included: All materials, step-by-step guidance from artist Michael McConville, plus holiday refreshments & snacks to keep the spirit bright.
